Blended Value Map Project
The Blended Value Map tracks organizations and issues involved in economic, social and environmental work. It explores social investing, sustainable development, corporate social responsibility, strategic philanthropy and social enterprise. Every month people who work in the environmental field meet up for a beer at informal sessions known as Green Drinks. We have a lively mixture of people from NGOs, academia, government and business. Guidelines for Funding Nonprofit Organizations
In recognition of the important role funders play in helping grantees achieve their missions, the board of directors of Grantmakers for Effective Organizations has endorsed the Statement on Guidelines for Funding Nonprofit Organizations, which outlines some grantmaking practices that contribute to grantee effectiveness. The guidelines identify a range of ways in which grantmakers can contribute to the health and vitality of the organizations they support, such as providing general operating support, program grants that cover full administrative expenses, multi-year funding and capacity-building support.

Terra Viva Grants is a nonprofit initiative, launched in 2008. It profiles grant makers for agriculture, environment, energy, and natural resources.
