Description	Non-profit organization dedicated since 1999 to the conservation and preservation of biological diversity in the Amazon Basin, through the implementation of field-based scientific and socio-economic programs that integrate research with natural resources and conservation. Amazon Conservation Association (ACA) works with local government institutions, communities and other conservation organizations to develop innovative conservation tools that will expand the amount of protected land in the region. ACA also collaborates with forest users who seek to improve their resource management practices, encouraging and facilitating sustainable development.
