DescriptionSince 1991, the Back Country Land Trust has preserved 5,000 acres of San Diego's scenic and wild landscape through our work with willing landowners, agencies and the backcountry communities we serve. We educate the public and students about our local natural and cultural resources and emphasize hands-on science and art in our preserves as effective learning tools. BCLT encourages passive recreational uses on the lands we conserve.
