Participant Designed Dialogues

This year, in order to facilitate discussion and collegiality, we will have Participant Designed Dialogues after two of the Featured Conversations. Such open spaced discussion allows participants to react in real time to the Featured Conversations, exploring in depth the issues and questions inspired by the panel with colleagues.

Briefly, this is how it will work:

1. During the Featured Conversation, participants will be invited to write down questions and topics for further discussion on the note cards provided.
2. Volunteers will collect the note cards until 20 minutes before the panel ends.
3. The volunteers will then sort through the note cards and arrange them by topic, filtering out the five to ten most common themes for further discussion.
4. The topics for the Participant Designed Dialogues will be posted visibly around the main room by the time the Featured Conversation ends.
5. Participants will check the postings to find the location for the discussion of most interest to them.
